“I am proud, I am a boy” Hazel Domingo admitted honestly.
When she was 8 years old, she found it easier to mingle with boy playmates around her village in Marikina City. She then started to like toy cars, robots and other toys for boys.
“There was a time that my parents would wander how come i get along well with boys.”Hazel said. Her parents wouldn’t have an idea that their daughter would grow up like a real man.
Upon growing up Hazel started buying polos, big T-shirts and she hates wearing skirts. She also started imitating how a boy walks, talks, and dress-up.
Yes,she’s a girl by birth but then when she grew up she realized that she’ll be her best self if she was a boy.
One thing that developed more of her self-identity crisis was , she spent highschool at an all-girls school in Quezon City. She started feeling a sense of affection towards her same sex since all she can see were girls. She had experienced different relationships that would last 2 to 3 moths or until 5 months.“We are more a loving partner than a real man”she joked around. She thought that she would change if she goes to college but then nothing happened.
She also experienced many criticisms and judgments from those who can’t accept her. She just ignored them and motivate her self that she would never be affected of what others will say as long as she was just honest to herself.
Hazel never stops proving to anyone that she’s someone who can be better than what they think off.
Hahahaha! Hazel Domingo pa? :P Hahahaha! =)))
