Fish gives Fortune

The five children was raised by a single parent named Maricel Quincena, 52, of Orconuma Bongabong Oriental Mindoro, who tries her luck in Quezon City by selling different kinds of fish using tulak-tulak or kariton with a starting capital of 2,000. Using her money, Quincena will to go Malabon Fish Port at 11pm until 3am to bid for different kinds of fish like, galunggong, tilapia, dalagang bukid and bangus.
As her perseverance, Quincena was able to earn 5,000 a day, so she decided to rent a small store at Verdote Building, Dumalay St. Barangay Sta. Monica, Novaliches, Quezon City.
Starting with her new store, Quincena strive hard and be able to provide another stall into the same building, earning 40,000 a week per stall.
Quincena decided to rent a 5 stall in the same building and was paying 10,000 in her 5 rental store a day and Quincena now earns 200,000 a week.
“Huwag mong kurutin. Pag hindi masarap, pwede mong ibalik. Pag bilasa, pwedeng palitan” said by Quincena. when she encountered a customer who was pinching the fish.
Quincena saved money for her to support all the expenses of her siblings, send her children to school, Jomar, the eldest, nursing at Fatima College and working now in Dubai, JM, second eldest, information technology at STI and now working at Mc Donald’s as a crew, Matthew, the third eldest, computer engineering at UE, newly graduated
and unemployed, Michael, the second to youngest, 3rd year high school at St. Theresa’s, and last, Marian, the youngest, grade 6 at St. Theresa’s.
Quincena has now own her new car Sportivo, house and lot at North Olympus Subdivision Novalichez, Quezon City and become a multi millionaire.
